Role:

We are looking for an Experienced Sales professional from a Pharma background to handle business for multiple segments with total Field staff strength of 2700 plus including MR, ABM, RBM & ZBM

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the process of planning sales targets for BU sales in the country in coordination with the BU head through forecasting sales and revenues, deployment and direct selling expenses, identifying new markets and customer segments, developing sales strategies to exploit the opportunities

- Guide Managers to ensure understanding and execute flawlessly

- Coach Managers manage teams, set expectations, and motivate the team

- Work in close coordination with the marketing team to co-create and coordinate execution plans

- Establish plans like the Field Coverage Plan, Sales, and Prescription Reporting Plans, Sales

- Incentive Plan etc., Monitor sales activity through tracking of sales MIS, formulate rolling sales plans to ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets

- Monitor stock inventories at a hospital /retail pharmacies, monitor product usage patterns, coordinate with Supply Chain and Central Warehouse to prevent stock-outs

- Ensure forecasting accuracy by driving feedback from the sales team and with close coordination with the marketing team

- Communicate key marketing strategies to the team and conduct group / individual interactions to check on the overall understanding of the marketing strategy by the field force.

- Monitor implementation of marketing initiatives by maintaining a link between the sales and marketing teams and evaluate the effectiveness/ impact of the marketing initiatives.

- Establish and Develop relationships with key customers by securing customer loyalty and forging a strong relationship in order to develop advocates to communicate key messages to the medical community

- Analyzing market trends and competitors' activities and formulating strategies to respond to these

- Ensure Managers establish a strong network with various purchase authorities at institutional customers to ensure achievement of regional sales objectives.

- Participate in the recruitment process, allocate targets, track, monitor, review, and guide performance, provide developmental feedback, suggest training programs, and facilitate the developmental process for the regional sales team.

Requirement :

- B.Sc. or B. Pharma with MBA in Marketing having 15-20 years of experience in Pharma Sales

- Experience in handling a large team

- The candidate should have good experience in launching new divisions and new products
