I am looking out for a Sales Head-Packaged Food for Nigeria with an MNC into FMCG.
JOB PROFILE:
Strategy Formulation & Implementation
- Part of the Core Country Management Team – Formulate country specific strategies along with the Country Head and other senior management team members
- Develop long term & medium term strategies for various product categories with special focus on deeper participation across the value chain
- Identifying future growth drivers in each of the product categories – also look at inorganic growth opportunities in his/her own area
- Develop the domestic business with emphasis on supply chain management – origination, logistics, processing, back end management for retail and end user based approach
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Engaging and proposing the development of new marketing propositions
- Devising our go ;market plan for our services, driving and coordinating the pace of execution
- Achieving target levels of new business through effective management of a team of sales professionals,
introducing brokers, network distributors and prospects.
- Implementation of Sales Strategy that addresses different geographical sales coverage
- To recruit, spire, develop, manage and motivate a growing team of sales professionals, network distributors and introducers, who will deliver high standards of sales services across all identified markets and service lines
- To regularly report achievements versus budget forecasts to the Senior Management Team.
- To manage the Market Excellence/Intelligence process; gathering market and customer information and
providing feedback on future trends, to support sales campaigns.
- To work closely with the Operations Team to ensure successful smooth delivery of client services.
- Ensure quality control of all sales output pertaining to customer acquisition and service delivery
- Establish and monitor performance reporting systems
4) People Management:-
- Provide Leadership role for product category in the Country/ Region
- Be a member of a cross functional / cross country teams.
- Managing large local teams across particular country / region.
- The role entails absolute P&L responsibility to the incumbent for both Country / Product levels. Exposure to Micro & Macro economic factor of business environment would therefore require a strong conceptual and analytical bend of mind to operate in international business environment.
