Key Responsibilities for Manager - Sales and Business Development
- Thorough knowledge of the Electric Vehicle market and EV Charging Solutions including the decision makers, key buying factors, market trends and competitive landscape.
- Focus on business development of EV Charging Solutions for Automotive OEMs, Charge Point Operators, Fleets etc.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for new account development. The manager will focus on initiating customer relationships, influencing charging specifications, responding to request for quotations (RFQs) and delivering top line growth while maintaining business gross profit margins.
- Responsible for opportunity creation and award of business supporting long term strategic growth, diversification, and profitability goals.
- Conduct market research and develop sales strategy for new offerings
- Expert in building customer relationships, proactively gauging customer requirements, developing solutions from available offerings, proposal preparation and sales
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 8-20 years of Business Development experience within Automotive OEMs/Electrical/Electronics/EV industry
- Knowledge of electric vehicle charging products and services
- Proven performance driving revenue growth
- Collaboration and persuasive communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in EEE or ECE or equivalent
- MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred
