Key Responsibilities
Business Development for India
- Drive new customer acquisition in India
- Drive sales in select verticals namely Manufacturing, Government, BFSI and Retail.
- The services focus would be predominantly SAP, Oracle, IM, Digital enterprise, SI services (ERP+IM) especially in the PSU and govt sectors
- Enable the field force by identifying tactical and strategic opportunities for growth in the respective regions and drive conversion of profitable business
- Effective sales management
- Accurately forecast growth budgets and manage business risks
- Job would involve extensive collaboration with key stakeholders such as Practice, Delivery, Inside Sales, Vertical Product & Bid management team
- Job would involve extensive travel
Customer Relationship Management
- Strategically map the customer accounts completely in terms of structure, decision making, influencing and implementing hierarchies and competition landscape.
- Establish, nurture and grow relationships with client managers to understand their expectations, pain points and their business goals and objectives.
- Proactively anticipate their needs and partner with them to help them succeed in their goals
- Success would be measured by ability to build strategic relationships and closure of multi-crore deals
- Effectively set and manage customer expectations
- Manage Alliances (SAP, Oracle, OEMS) including identifying the need, establishing partnerships and managing them
Others
- Compliance to legal, contract and finance processes while booking business
- Event planning and management for participation in business promotion and business generation seminars/conferences/events
- Interfacing with the corporate marketing team for conceptualizing and executing marketing programs for effective lead generation
- Directing the telemarketing team for demand generation
- Interfacing with the practice teams for conceptualizing new solutions for customers and markets

Profile
- 16 - 20 years of experience of having sold IT services & solutions in India out which he should have sold enterprise solutions (SAP/Oracle) for 7-8 years
- Minimum 6 years of sales management experience wherein one should have managed teams consisting of senior sales professionals
- Should have the experience of having sold large multi crore SI deals in the PSU and the govt sector
- Sound knowledge of IT industry and the IT services space
- Alliance sales and management experience is a must
- Should have strong contacts in the market place
