Job Details:


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field with 18 to 20 years of experience


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership & Growth:


- Own and drive revenue generation from new accounts while developing and executing a robust strategy to expand our customer base within the government sector.


Opportunity Development:


- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, building strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers across State, Central, Ministries, and PSUs.


Sales Forecasting & Execution:


- Accurately forecast and achieve sales bookings, billing, and collections, ensuring the team stays ahead of targets and market trends


Customer Engagement:


- Build and maintain strong, healthy relationships with high-level stakeholders, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction while positioning Newgen's products and solutions effectively.


Team Leadership:


- Inspire, motivate, and lead a high-performing sales team, driving excellence in performance, collaboration, and growth.


Market Analysis & Competitor Insights:


- Stay ahead of the curve by analysing market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs, and use this insight to sharpen our sales approach.


Domain Expertise:


Guide the team with valuable knowledge-sharing on industry trends, technological advancements, and customer-centric solutions.


What We're Looking For:


Qualifications & Experience:


Proven Expertise:


- 18 to 20 years of experience in selling software products/IT-enabled solutions, with 14 to 17 years of direct experience in software solutions sales within the government vertical.


Skills & Expertise:


Track Record of Success:


- A proven history of selling high-ticket, complex software solutions, with a deep understanding of the government buying cycle (State, Central, Ministries, PSUs).


Performance Excellence:


- Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales targets and acquiring new business.


Market Insight & Strategy:


- Ability to forecast sales trends, devise winning sales strategies, and execute them effectively.


Account Management:


- Expertise in managing large, strategic accounts and delivering exceptional business value.


Team Leadership:


- Experience in building and leading a team of motivated, skilled sales professionals to achieve extraordinary results.


CXO Relationship Building:


- Strong ability to develop and nurture relationships with CXOs and senior leaders across customer organizations.


Collaboration with Partners:


Proven experience working with System Integrators (SIs) and partners on large, complex deals.
