Sales Development Representative - IT

As SDR, your primary ownership will be driving qualified leads (inbound and outbound) and demos to prospects. At the same time, being an early employee in a startup, you will directly work with the founders and get the feedback from customer conversations to influence product roadmap and define target customer persona. You will also own lucrative ESOPs in the company.

Responsibilities :

- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

- Understand customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities

- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

- Help downstream team members close sales

- Research pain points of the assigned ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)

- Research competition for pricing and offerings

- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest

- Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers.

- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned ICP

- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

- Perform effective online demos to prospects

Requirements :

- Proven inside sales experience of 1-2 years in US market

- Use a combination of outreach mechanisms to nurture leads (Call, Email, Marketing automation tools like outreach, LinkedIn InMail's, etc.)

- Ability to handle high volume of outbound calling activity every day

- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools

- Experience working with Salesforce.com, HubSpot or similar CRM

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
