JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Job Function : Inside Sales / Sales support

Location : Bangalore

Reporting : Sr. Manager - Inside Sales (based in US)

Department Description :

Sales Development / Inside Sales Team is primarily tasked with generating Project Opportunities to accelerate revenue growth. The team will work closely with internal and external partners to convert marketing demand generation into sales opportunities and Cambium customers.

Scope of Responsibilities & Position Expectations :

Sales/New Business Generation :

- Develop and implement activities to contact new customer and generate new business

- Qualify leads, and Consult with potential customers to uncover how Cambium can solve their business problems, then work with customers to define opportunities and convert to customer orders

Sales:

- Answer and Qualify inbound sales lead calls and inbound electronic sales leads then action based on specific criteria

- Conduct outbound/cold call engagements and develop leads/prospects and close personally or in conjunction with the sales team

- Develop relationships with Channel Partner Inside &Outside Sales teams and communicate effectively to hand-off qualified leads

- Follow-up with prospects who respond to marketing programs and campaigns

- Follow-up on leads from lists and other resources / Follow-up on support/extended warranty renewal opportunities and other renewals

- Follow-up on inquiries related to products, services, partner program, etc., and other issues, as necessary leverage internal relationships to hand-off as required

Build strength / Analyze :

- Candidate MUST be prepared to support activities to track and analyze their own and the company's effectiveness in creating new business

- Monitor success rates to guide demand generation to growth areas

- Candidate MUST Document, track, monitor and update all leads and activities in CRM tool, as required

Sales/Technical :

- Acquire at least a basic knowledge of our full range of Cambium products and services, the candidate must be able to create quotes to end customers to be executed by channel partners. Seek technical support initially but eventually gain the ability to work independently.

- Convey product knowledge to potential clients, adhering to company messaging and positioning.

- Continuously stay up to date on technologies relevant to the Cambium Business lines

Knowledge/ Skill Requirement :

- Personally driven to achieve and surpass goals, Self-Starter with the potential to lead

- Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done

- Strong communication skills and ability to work with global teams

- Strong interest in technology and Tech business, Previous Technology experience a plus

- Commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace

- Previous Inside Sales experience a plus / Experience in dealing with both Direct and Indirect external customers

- Previous experience with CRM and ERP systems (experience with Net Suite / Salesforce.com a plus)

- Excellent computer skills, specific proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint required

- Bachelor's Degree in Business / Industrial Distribution / Engineering acceptable (2+ yrs. experience a plus but not required)

- Masters- Degree in Business Administration (a plus but not required)
