Designation: Sales Development Manager(Trade Marketing Manager)
Reporting to:General Manager - India
Direct Reports: 1 (Trade Marketing Executive)
Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing trade excitement programs / trade marketing schemes for channel partners & Sales Development.
- Understand shopper behavior and develop strategies for productive conversion.
- Developing Sales promotional strategies basis market trends/counter competition, implementing marketing plans.
- Building Retailer Relationship and Driving initiatives
- Shopper Activation: In-store Promotion and Activation
- Create innovate methods to capture market through micro marketing initiatives like Activation and visibility drives
- Overseeing off take generation activity in Key Accounts
- Develop and ensure implementation of Sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives of the region within budgeted costs
- Propose sales promotion plan/schemes
- Manage the distribution network and C&F agents with periodic monitoring of sales and collections
- Identify and network with distributors for deeper market penetration and reach
- Work closely with dealers and distributors and assist them to promote the Company's products
- Continuously monitor competitor activities, conduct competitor analysis, keep abreast of market trends
- Analyze market response/requirements and communicate the same to the Marketing team
- Keeping the trade spends in the approved budgets
- Analyze and keep track of the Return on Trade Investments
- Market visibility in line with the merchandising principles
- Understanding the National market for the portfolio thoroughly to be able to create strategy for development of category
- Understanding Brand Strategies and translating them for success in the market
- Ensuring successful New Product Launches - Distribution & Volume
- Preparing incentives plan
- Building Sales Capability
- Managing Trade Loyalty and Channel Partner Loyalty Programs
- POSM execution
- Strategizing and Implementing BTL Activities
