Job Description

- As an integral member of the organization the Sales Development Manager will be responsible for all aspects of data driven sales organisation which is agile enabling real time decision making. He will also be required to work cross functionally to ensure that objectives are met.

Ideal profile:

- The ideal candidate should have an exceptional track record of working in an analytical environment, to be comfortable with data queries and analysis, competitive analysis, working in ambiguity, ability to look for and drive process improvements and automation.

- He/she should have a strong bias toward data driven analysis and an innate ability to understand how metrics relate to business problems and to each other.

- The incumbent will be an active collaborator with the RSMs here and will be empowered to influence their plans and decisions with data. Your responsibilities will include Interfacing with Channel heads, gathering requirements and defining project road maps, take ownership of all processes and projects related to sales data/MIS.

- The role needs to gather requirements from all stakeholders, track and analyse progress against targets, identify and troubleshoot issues for the same, mechanisms to track competition and its activities, continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis, automate or simplify the processes.

- He/she would be the owner for the India CRM workflows and collaborate with IT on implementation.

- Would be responsible for making sure CRM customizations, automation, implementations are done to support existing businesses running out of India.

Responsibilities

- Partner with the NSM- Channel on all reviews

- Coordinate Sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within India Sales organisation with Channel Heads and NSM- Channel respectively

- Track and analyse rebates/schemes. Observe data patterns and design future evolutions in nature and structure

- Drives sales incentive administration (Calculation, Communication etc.)

- Proactively monitor and maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning effort with the NSM Geography

- Review and analyse sales data to unearth areas needing improvement

- Report sales plans and results to Sales Leadership team

- Liaise all Sales data related work with internal support functions like Finance, HR, etc.

- Direct and support the consistent implementation of company initiatives pertaining to Sales

- Lead CRM related initiatives

Qualifications

- MBA

- Min. 5 years of Post MBA work exp.

2 years- experience in project management in a sales environment

2 years of experience in a business analysis

3 years of experience in a sales or sales management role

- Experience with Sales, Sales Systems, Sales Reporting and Sales Analysis, CRM

- Proficiency in MS Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (advanced/expert level necessary)
