Job Responsibilities and Skills Required:
1. We are looking for someone who has worked in sales earlier in his career and currently working on Sales strategy,Sales planning, Planning sales incentive structure for Sales team, Sales team trg, Competition bench marking,Product pricing, Market intelligence, Data analytics etc.
2. This is a general management role - person will be responsible for the entire business encompassing sales, operations, service delivery, product and marketing.
3. It is also a high-growth, startup-ish role. Therefore a hustler is needed. A consumer internet startup founder who's run a reasonable scale company is possibly the best way to describe a fit for this role.
4. From a background perspective, strong preference for a person who is currently managing a mid-sized business in its entirety - and thereby overseeing all functions. Next preference is for a product person who has some sales/BD exposure for this position. And the last choice is a BD/sales person with definite exposure to managing a business/product role. For all profiles, minimum 10 years of post MBA experience is a minimum need, of which the last 3 years minimum is needed in consumer internet.
5. Person should have team handling skills. Should be a high-performer. A hustler, can-do attitude, is necessary.
6. What we don't want a pure sales person without relevant cross-functional experience. Or a product person who hasn't handled a revenue/business function. Or a mid-level performer.
