Sales Consultant - Business Development (Gurgaon)
Position Summary:
Looking for an energetic and experienced sales professional from Consulting, based in India, to drive our sales and BD initiatives and deliver on revenue growth goals in regional markets.
We have a range of products and solutions to offer health care providers, institutions, insurers and companies within the healthcare eco-system. The successful candidate will be responsible to lead and execute a sales approach to drive growth and adoption of portfolio of global healthcare solutions and associated analytics and operational consulting in regional markets in Middle East and Asia. This role is a critical part of growth strategy. This high visibility role requires you to leverage your creativity, business acumen, and drive to promote our portfolio of healthcare analytics and data solutions.
The key responsibilities are revenue generation including promoting and selling solutions to the appropriate target group at an institutional level. The primary responsibilities will be to generate revenue, develop a qualified pipeline of opportunities, and to perform the necessary prospecting activities to support a healthy pipeline.

Products :
The product portfolio consists of analytic solutions designed for health insurers, healthcare providers, government regulators, large employers, and wellness companies. These tools are related to wellness, medical underwriting, claims and data analysis platforms.
Job Requirements :
The successful candidate will:
- Lead, design and execute a structured sales approach to drive growth and adoption of portfolio of global healthcare solutions and associated analytics and operational consulting across regional markets
- Perform the necessary prospecting activities to sustain a healthy pipeline and generate revenue, including phone calls, emails, presentations in person or via the Web, and other lead-generating activities
- Track government/ regulator and other avenues of RFI/RFP in the region and coordinate response to proposals and follow-ups as needed.
- Lead and coordinate with the marketing communications team to develop/update marketing materials and other collaterals to support the sales efforts
- Develop a quarterly sales plan to formally guide you with strategies and tactics necessary to achieve goals and quota
- Speak/attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Travel to prospect and client locations as appropriate; as needed
- Coordinate with other global teams in the US, Middle East and Asia to identify new opportunities and leverage existing synergies
Qualifications: Mandatory
- At least 7 years of overall B2B or B2G sales/BD experience, a majority of that in the healthcare space or BFSI segment
- Structured approach to sales using target segmentation to identify and shortlist prospects
- Proven (and verifiable) track record of sales performance and quota attainment
- An existing network or proven potential to develop a good network within the health insurance, healthcare provider and health Insurtech market in the region
- Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with our client's senior management and decision makers
- Self-driven but with the ability to work as part of a team

Qualifications: Desired
- At least 5 years of experience selling healthcare consulting solutions or analytic software, data warehousing and healthcare informatics products to health insurance or healthcare provider markets or VCs in the region.
- Experience across India, Asia and Middle East preferred
- Knowledge of claims-based healthcare analytic software, data warehousing and healthcare informatics tools and software, with a special emphasis on products designed for health plans
- Familiarity with the Challenger Sales Approach or similar structured philosophies.
- Strong presence on Linkedin and familiarity with the use of technology to support lead generation and outreach.
Educational Requirements:
- Masters degree or MBA preferably in marketing or similar area
- Degree in any discipline from a well-recognized, accredited school.
