At Outsized, we match clients in financial services and management consulting to high-quality independent consultants and boutique/specialist firms for the execution of their key projects.
Our client, a global strategy consulting firm, is engaged in a large-scale transformation exercise for a large Indian cement manufacturer.
The consulting firm is looking for sales consultants to drive higher sales volumes in Gujarat and Rajasthan, work with senior clients, coach them, and manage initiatives focused on sales improvement.
Below summarizes the role:
- Develop sales & distribution strategies to achieve business objectives
- Ownership of all allocated tasks by applying a project management framework for their effective delivery
- Present findings and recommendations to clients
- Implement recommendations or solutions and ensure the client receives the necessary assistance
- Effective governance and controls (reporting, budget, risk, and issue management)
- Manage the overall module while working with the rest of the team
- Effective communication and senior stakeholder management
An ideal candidate would have:
- Sales professional with 3 to 8 years of overall experience
- Extensive field sales experience in trade business in the cement or the building materials industry
- Previous experience working in Gujarat and Rajasthan markets would be a plus
This opportunity will initially be on a 12-month contract. The chosen consultant will need to travel to Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Delhi on a weekly or biweekly basis.
