Job Summary:   We have an exciting role as a data scientist in our fast-growing startup. The role would involve design and implementation of data science/machine learning flows in python along with feature engineering and performance and accuracy tuning of the predictive model. Alongside, prescriptive analytics flow implementation, tuning and detailed evaluation would be required. The person would play a key role in handling data science projects across multiple clients and communicate with the internal and external business teams. We combine computation and process flow through our suite of products to deliver measurable changes in profitability, market share and great sales execution. We will deliver all this through mobile first technologies using a SaaS model  Requirements:  - At least 5- 7 years of relevant experience  - Machine Learning: Algorithm design, analysis and development and performance improvement  Strong understanding of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, machine-learning approaches, clustering, classification, regression techniques, and recommendation (collaborative filtering) algorithms  Time Series Analysis  - Data Science  Good experience in exploratory data analysis and feature design & development   Experience of applying and evaluating ML algorithms to practical predictive modeling scenarios in various verticals including (but not limited to) FMCG, Media, E-commerce and Hospitality.  - Proficient with programming in R, Python & PySpark. Parallel ML algorithms design and development and usage for maximal performance on multi-core, distributed and/or GPU architectures.  - Experience in analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets using one or more of tools including SAS, Tableau, SPSS.  - Good coding experience in Spark, Hadoop/Pig, Java/Scala  - Team player and good communication and interpersonal skills  Preferred:  - Experience in usage of Big Data Analytics and Tools: Hadoop, SQL, Hive, HBase  - Good experience in Natural Language Processing and its applications  - Experience and understanding of: Mathematical Optimization formulations, Linear, MILP & Quadratic Programming, Game Theory.
