Leading a team of account managers to create new opportunities, manage and develop partnerships with the Banks, Partners, Resellers and Shopping cart providers.
About the role -
Reporting to the Head of Sales/CBO, the Head of Strategic Partnerships owns the growth of most significant client relationships. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to make a significant impact on the growth of existing product lines and co-creation with partners of new products and services. It requires sales, management and innovation skills in equal measure, as well as a drive and a passion to grow deep customer relationships.
Outline of responsibilities -
- Build and deliver a business plan that creates meaningful growth opportunities with Fintech/Banks/Partners
- Respond to market trends to lead creation of new products and services that meet major customer needs
- Lead the Strategic Partner function, including recruiting and developing a team of senior, high quality account managers.
- Work with account managers to ensure continuous development and to generate new ideas and opportunities for the accounts they manage
- Manage resources (within the team, wider sales team and within other parts of the business) to ensure that the largest opportunities are maximised
- Bring a stream of new business opportunities from within the existing partner population and potential new partners that drive new inflows across all areas.
- Drive the organisation and facilitation of campaigns/negotiations/product launches including marketing activity
Outline of skills/experience required
- Able to grow accounts at senior levels within customer organisations; evidence of creating meaningful business opportunities through these relationships
- Excellent people management and planning skills
- Highly developed relationship management skills
- Excellent data analysis skills and the ability to make great decisions using both data and instinct
- Strong ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders either directly or indirectly.
- The ability to negotiate with internal and external colleagues.
- Highly developed presentation and facilitation skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Numerical and analytical skills.
- Good connect with banks, Partners, ERP and Shopping cart providers
- Experience with fintech company will be added advantage
- Self-starting with a drive to succeed and deliver
