Education : Bachelor's degree. Business or technology discipline is preferred.
Experience : Minimum 10 years related sales/account management experience preferably within the Travel and Tourism arena.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of Sabre and Abacus' product line and services offered.
- Responsible for driving customer engagements and business development of Sabre and solutions and technology offerings that result in revenue for one or more named Global Accounts in India.
- Develops, supports and implements positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer engagements are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Represents the customer's interests to product teams and other regional teams.
- Establishes positive relationship and results in order to solidify a stronger regional relationship and grow business in India.
- Serves as daily primary point of contact with the customer with responsibility for account volume, productivity, market share and profitability for the Global Accounts in India.
- Works closely with the client and other Sabre Management in identifying current and future requirements and translating them into Sabre offerings with the necessary cooperation with Sabre product marketing team.
- Develops and articulates solutions based on a client's strategic business or technical requirements ascertained from working with multiple business units across the client's organization.
- Maintains awareness of existing or potential client escalation issues.
- While operating with broad latitude for decisions and actions, this position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a customer, either from a financial standpoint or product standpoint. This role is recognized as an expert by internal and external peers.
- This position will serve in a variety of roles such as team leader, advisor or project manager.
- Ability to work independently as well as on cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in constructing a business case, contract negotiations and financial evaluation and analysis.
- Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation and interpersonal skills.
