Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of the company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring the company's financial health.

The Finance Manager will work closely with senior leadership and various departments to ensure financial strategies align with the overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Provide financial analysis and forecasting to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

- Analyze trends in financial performance and assess risks and opportunities.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Develop, manage, and oversee the company's annual budgeting process, working with various departments to create accurate financial plans.

- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing explanations for variances and taking corrective actions when necessary.

- Update financial forecasts regularly to reflect changes in market conditions or company operations.

Cash Flow Management:

- Oversee cash flow management, ensuring that the company maintains sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.

- Monitor daily cash balances and develop cash flow projections to support business needs.

- Recommend strategies for optimizing cash flow, working capital, and financial investments.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Prepare and ensure accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting principles.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements (e., IFRS, GAAP).

- Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors during audit periods.

Strategic Financial Guidance:

- Provide strategic financial recommendations to senior management for improving profitability, operational efficiency, and cost management.

- Support the leadership team in setting financial goals and ensuring they align with business objectives.

- Offer insights on financial opportunities and risks related to business investments and expansion.

Cost Control & Profitability Improvement:

- Implement cost control measures and track expenses to ensure operational efficiency.

- Review financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce unnecessary expenses.

Internal Controls & Risk Management:

- Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard the company's assets.

- Identify and assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the business.

- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and recommend improvements as needed.

Leadership & Team Development:

- Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance on financial processes and professional development.

- Coordinate with other departments (e., Operations, Sales) to ensure alignment with financial goals.

- Lead initiatives for process improvements within the finance department.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication:

- Present regular financial updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

- Create and maintain presentations, reports, and other documents to communicate financial performance and plans.

- Required Skills & Bachelor's/ master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent are highly 4+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.

- Strong experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

- Proven experience in financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
