S4 HANA Fixed Assets Module Implementation Role

Educational Qualification:

- Certified Accountant (CA/CMA/CWA) or MBA (Finance) with a college degree in Accounting

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the IT industry

- Expertise in S4 HANA Fixed Assets (FA) module implementation

Target Profile: Candidates from Big 4 organizations with relevant experience in SAP S4 HANA FA module implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:

S4 HANA Fixed Assets Implementation:

- Lead and manage the implementation of the Fixed Assets module within SAP S4 HANA.

- Understand and configure Asset Lifecycle Management, Asset Accounting, Reconciliations, and Reporting in the SAP system.

- Ensure the Fixed Assets module is integrated seamlessly with other SAP modules (FICO, MM, etc.).

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement them within SAP.

- Work closely with business counterparts to understand their financial and asset management needs and map them to SAP solutions.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT and external vendors, for smooth integration and deployment.

Design, Configuration & Testing:

- Design, configure, and document SAP Fixed Assets module solutions to support global business requirements.

- Perform system testing and validation of the implemented solutions, ensuring that all requirements are met and all issues are resolved.

- Create test cases, conduct system integration testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Reporting & Analytics:

- Support reporting requirements using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Snaplogic, SQL, and Jira.

- Ensure that all reporting is aligned with business needs and provides accurate, real-time financial insights into the organization's fixed asset data.

Agile Methodology & Change Management:

- Apply agile methodologies in the design and deployment process to ensure fast delivery and continuous improvement.

- Implement effective change management strategies to handle system upgrades and process improvements.

Ongoing Support & Documentation:

- Provide ongoing support post-implementation to resolve issues and fine-tune configurations as per business feedback.

- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes for future reference.

Technical & Functional Expertise:

- Deep knowledge of SAP S4 HANA Fixed Assets (FA) module, including implementation, configuration, and customization.

- Understanding of accounting methods, asset accounting processes, financial reporting, and cost management in an SAP environment.

- Ability to analyze complex organizational issues and devise solutions to optimize asset management and financial operations.

Effective Communication:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas, gather business requirements, and manage stakeholder expectations.

- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and project success.

Key Qualifications:

Education: CA/CMA/CWA or MBA in Finance with a degree in Accounting.

Experience:

- 5-8 years of experience working in an SAP environment, specifically in S4 HANA Fixed Assets (FA) module implementation.

- Prior experience working in IT industry-related accounting roles is preferred.

Technical Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of SAP S4 HANA, FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) integration, and Fixed Asset Accounting module.

- Familiarity with analytics/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Snaplogic, SQL, and Jira.

Preferred Background: Candidates from Big 4 organizations with expertise in SAP S4 HANA Fixed Assets module.
