About the Role : As Sales Manager, you will be selling booth/floor space, sponsorships, directory advertisements and other branding opportunities, generating revenue for events and exhibits. You will collaborate with the sales team to guide and devise strategies to meet business goals.


Responsibilities :


- As an inspirational sales manager you will be accountable for accelerating the commercial performance, through a long-term lens, you will work with the Portfolio Head of Sales to build and execute strategic sales plans to exceed your targeted revenues across all product lines. Customer optimization will be your obsession. You can think critically, and quickly identify revenue opportunities on a tactical basis using data as your primary indicator to measure performance against expectation.


- You excite clients in both face to face and digital environments and are skilled at multithreading relationships with key partners to understand underlying value drivers to deliver outcome focused solutions.


- You will objectively manage your sales pipeline to accurately review and forecast performance, market trends and risks.


- At your core you will be a team player. With strong communication skills you will be drive an inclusive and safe environment across functions including operations, marketing, finance, pricing and brand leadership to ensure successful delivery of your exhibitions.


- Naturally engaging, you will drive support and advocacy from international teams including the International Sales Group


- You will ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations in all sales activities and promote ethical business practices both within and across your teams.


Requirements :


- Possess sales experience in a relevant environment, such as exhibitions


- Be a highly driven and enthusiastic sales professional


- Demonstrate creativity and initiative in a sales environment


- Have a proven record of negotiating and securing new business


- Be experienced in consultative selling and objection handling


- Be able to maximize revenue from existing customers by demonstrating innovation and creativity in ideas


- Be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
