We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Digital with a strong background in leading e-commerce digital verticals and over 14 years of industry experience overall. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving digital transformation across our sales and marketing teams, leading performance marketing initiatives, overseeing SEO strategy, implementing Martech and tech stacks, fostering digital innovations, managing our call center, coordinating with digital agencies, and managing a high-performing digital team.

Role & responsibilities:


1. Digital Transformation:

- Lead the digital transformation initiatives for the sales and marketing teams.

- Assess current digital capabilities and identify areas for improvement.

- Develop and implement digital strategies that align with business goals and drive digital maturity.

- Ensure the integration of digital tools and platforms to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Monitor and evaluate the impact of digital transformation efforts on business performance.

2. Performance Marketing:

- Develop and execute performance marketing strategies to drive business growth.

- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing campaigns and track progress.

- Monitor and optimize marketing campaigns across various digital channels (e.g., search engines, social media, email, display advertising) to ensure KPIs are met.

- Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to measure campaign performance and ROI.

- Continuously test and refine marketing tactics to improve effectiveness.

3. SEO Strategy and Implementation:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.

- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for optimization.

- Oversee the implementation of on-page and off-page SEO best practices across all digital content.

- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO principles are integrated into content production.

- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments.

4. Martech and Tech Stack Implementation:

- Evaluate, select, and implement marketing technology (Martech) and tech stack solutions to support digital marketing initiatives.

- Ensure seamless integration of Martech tools with existing systems and platforms.

- Train and support teams on the effective use of Martech solutions.

- Monitor the performance of implemented tools and make adjustments as necessary.

- Stay current with emerging Martech trends and innovations.

5. Innovations in Digital:

- Identify and implement innovative digital solutions to enhance customer experience and engagement.

- Leverage AI tools and technologies to improve marketing automation, personalization, and data analysis.

- Stay abreast of emerging digital trends, technologies, and best practices.

- Foster a culture of innovation within the digital team and encourage creative problem-solving.

- Pilot new digital initiatives and assess their impact on business outcomes.

7. Managing Digital Agencies:

- Manage relationships with external digital agencies and vendors.

- Ensure agency deliverables align with company objectives, timelines, and brand guidelines.

- Monitor and evaluate agency performance to ensure optimal results.

- Negotiate contracts and manage budgets for agency services.

- Foster a collaborative and transparent working relationship with agencies.

8. Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital team.

- Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular feedback.

- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

- Conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional development.

- Allocate resources effectively to meet team and business objectives.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Masters degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Over 14 years of experience in digital marketing and min 5-6 yrs in e-commerce leading teams.

- Proven experience in leading digital transformation projects.

- Strong knowledge of performance marketing, SEO, Martech, and tech stack implementation.

- Experience with AI tools and technologies for marketing and customer engagement.

- Excellent analytical and project management skills.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in managing call centers and digital agencies is a plus.
