Rural Sales Development and Sales Tech Lead - FMCG - Diversity Only
1. Rural sales KPIs
- Drive Rural KPI's like Tertiary Sales, assortment growth, mandays
- Identify trends from data, correlate business growth with market intelligence and derive required inferences
2. Tech and Analytics ecosystem strategy
- Be the custodian of all National level initiatives and IT related priorities in the area of Sales Development function which would primarily include the following:
- Drive all Sales IT initiatives and along with RSDMs/RSDE's & Region Teams & IT Team ensuring execution of Sales IT priorities as per the Sales IT calendar.
- Lead for deployment & augmenting the Sales Force Automation solutions for frontline sales force etc.
- Identify & drive initiatives which enhance sales force productivity and performance; post doing a need- gap analysis. The areas of focus will be on enhancing making the following areas best-in-class:
- DMS & Hand Held Terminals (Urban and Rural)
- GCPL apps used in GT & MT
- Sales analytics pilots and rollouts
- Keep track of best-in-class trends in Sales IT domain & funnel the requirement for sales IT roadmap.
3. Customer delight (Sales Team- both HO and Field Sales)
- Through agile problem solving with low TAT
4. Travel
- To get a first-hand feel of opportunities in rural and to understand the technology implementation 2-3 days of market visit in a month should be good enough.

- Deeply analytical and Root Cause analysis approach towards problem solving
- Strong bent of project management since multiple projects are on-going simultaneously
- Extremely agile on customer/stakeholder centricity
- Ability to influence stakeholders upwards and downwards without any reporting authority
- Proactive planner and priority setter
- Understands FMCG sales ecosystem well
Education - Post Graduate degree (MBA) in Sales & Marketing
Experience :
- Total experience in the range of 3-5 years in Sales/ Trade Marketing/ Sales OR total experience of 3-5 years in FMCG consulting environment - Diversity
