Profile Summary:

- As the SM/AGM - Credit Card Sales, you will be responsible for leading and driving card sales across assigned channels or regions.


- You will play a pivotal role in scaling our cards business by developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing partnerships, and ensuring that targets are met or exceeded.


- You will also work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer service, to optimize the sales process and deliver value to our customers.

Job Title: SM/AGM - Credit Card Sales

Education: Bachelor's degree required (MBA or equivalent preferred).

Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales or business development roles within financial services, cards, or payments industries.

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

Channel/Regional Sales Leadership:

- Own the end-to-end sales performance for assigned channels or regions, ensuring aggressive growth targets are met.

- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new card customers through direct sales, partnerships, digital channels, or physical distribution networks.

- Monitor sales performance, identify gaps, and drive initiatives to optimize results across key sales metrics such as volume, profitability, and retention.

Sales Team & Partner Management:

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to exceed targets.

- Identify, onboard, and manage key external partners (e.g., retail networks, digital platforms, banks, fintechs) to grow card sales through strategic alliances.

- Foster a collaborative environment with internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth cross-functional execution of sales initiatives.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

- Develop and execute channel-specific or regional sales strategies aligned with business goals.

- Continuously assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform strategy and drive innovation.

- Lead the design and implementation of promotional offers, campaigns, and initiatives to maximize card uptake in the market.

Customer Acquisition & Growth:

- Drive customer acquisition through targeted sales efforts, delivering sustainable growth in the cardholder base.

- Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to refine value propositions, ensuring they resonate with target audiences and drive conversion.

- Ensure exceptional customer experiences throughout the acquisition process, optimizing onboarding and engagement efforts.

Sales Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

- Regularly track and report on sales performance, key metrics, and ROI for all initiatives.

- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership, ensuring that strategies are adjusted as needed to maintain a competitive edge.

- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and forecasts to provide visibility into regional or channel performance.

Product Collaboration:

- Collaborate with product teams to influence product development based on customer feedback and market insights.

- Support new product launches by integrating sales strategies and working closely with marketing and product teams.

Skills & Persona:

- Bachelor's degree required (MBA or equivalent preferred).

- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development roles within financial services, cards, or payments industries.

- Experience managing and growing sales channels or regions, with a demonstrated ability to deliver against aggressive sales targets.

- Prior experience in credit card or consumer lending product lines is a strong plus.

- Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams.

- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build and manage strategic partnerships.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Highly data-driven with strong analytical skills, including the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies..
