Role : Big Data / Hadoop – Lead / Architect

Job Description:

Looking for absolutely hands-on Business Intelligence / Big Data experienced professionals to join our BI team to take responsibility for guiding customers in the architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions, especially from Big Data perspective.

Skills

- Excellent communication is a MUST

- Experience: 7 – 10 years of hands-on experience

- Technology: Microsoft BI Stack including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, HDInsight, Polybase, PowerQuery, PowerPivot and PowerMap

- Must have worked upon Microsoft BI stack SSIS, SSAS and SSRS for minimum 6 years

- Must have worked upon HDInsight, Polybase (Hadoop Implementation) and Big Data analytics for 1 - 2 years

- Worked upon full cycle implementation of Big Data using Microsoft BI stack using HDInsight and Polybase

- Knowledge of the Data Warehouse Lifecycle (Kimball) and Bill Inmon

- A deep understanding of, and ability to use and explain all aspects of, relational database design, multidimensional database design, OLTP, OLAP, KPIs, Scorecards, and Dashboards

- Working knowledge of SQL Server StreamInsight architecture, development, and deployment patterns and practices.

- Working knowledge of Hadoop, MapReduce

- Strong written & verbal communication with an ability to express and understand complex technical concepts

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills

- Expert in data modeling

- Prior roles in architecting complex BI solutions around Big Data

Responsibilities

- Position, articulate and demonstrate the value proposition for Microsoft Big Data technologies

- Rapidly prototype and build custom demos, proof of concepts and customer use-cases

- Create solution templates and associated assets that can serve as basis of similar repeatable solutions

- Provide advice and best practices to customers to architect and implement solutions.
