Job Overview:

- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead and drive the sales efforts of our organization.

- In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the sales team, develop and execute strategic sales plans, and drive revenue growth across key markets.

- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, a strong understanding of the industry, and the ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and business plans to achieve revenue targets, market share goals, and company growth objectives.

- Identify and evaluate new sales opportunities in both existing and potential markets.

- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives, including setting clear performance expectations, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering a high-performance culture.

- Encourage professional growth and skills development through regular training and mentorship.

- Client Acquisition & Retention: Build and nurture relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and strategic partners.

- Lead high-level negotiations and close large, complex deals.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to drive long-term loyalty and repeat business.

- Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Provide regular reports to senior management on team progress, forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance.

- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions.

- Analyze market data to identify new opportunities, assess customer needs, and refine sales strategies to address evolving business demands.

- Collaboration & Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure sales strategies are aligned with overall company goals.

- Support the development of marketing campaigns and promotional materials to drive sales initiatives.

- Sales Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop accurate sales forecasts, set budgets, and manage sales expenses to ensure efficient resource allocation.

- Analyze sales trends and market conditions to adjust strategies and drive profitability.

- Contract Negotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation and closing of high-value contracts.

- Ensure that all deals are aligned with organizational goals and profitability targets while maintaining customer satisfaction.

- Performance Metrics & Reporting: Regularly report on team achievements, pipeline progress, and individual sales performance.

- Utilize CRM systems and other tools to track sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Background:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

- Master's degree or MBA is a plus.

Professional Experience:

- Minimum of 6-7 years of sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in a sales management or leadership role.

- Proven experience in B2B or B2C sales, with a strong background in managing large sales teams and driving significant revenue growth.

- Experience in [industry or sector specific to your business, e., technology, healthcare, finance, SaaS] preferred.

Sales Expertise:

- Deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies (e., solution selling, consultative selling), and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.

- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to manage long sales cycles and complex deals.

Leadership and Team Management:

- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.

- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to build trust, motivate, and resolve conflicts.

Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen:

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

- Ability to analyze complex business situations and develop actionable sales plans.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both C-level executives and frontline sales teams.

- Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, particularly with clients, stakeholders, and partners
