RSM Delivery Center - Senior Director/Director - Financial Planning & Analysis

Background to the Position :

RSM is keen to hire a seasoned Senior Director / Director to develop and lead the Strategic Finance and FP&A practice within RSM India. The objective is to onboard a leader with strong experience in financial modeling and consulting. She / He will be responsible for the development of this team within India to support the U.S. member Firm as RSM expands its capabilities across various geographies.

Key RESPONSIBILITIES :

The individual would be responsible for :

Strategic Leadership :

- Develop a team that positions RSM as a dominant player in the Strategic Finance and financial modeling services landscape.

- Position RSM as orchestrating solutions for clients across key segments, leveraging Strategic Finance and financial modeling capabilities and the broader ecosystem.

People Leadership :

- Understand strategic priorities of the member Firms clients and motivate the extended/ leverages teams to respond to these priorities. Remove inhibitors to performance.

- Drive a performance culture within the India Strategic Finance and FP&A business, ensuring the best team is in place to drive sustainable growth and results.

- Attract, develop, and retain best talent to help fulfill the growth ambitions for U.S. Strategic Finance and FP&A service offerings and develop clear succession plans for the group.

- Mentor the team to perform at their best in a climate that promotes teamwork and collaboration across the matrix.

Stakeholder Management :

- Manage and foster relationships with internal stakeholders.

- Institutionalize effective internal stakeholder influencing and management skills across the organization.

Service Delivery Management

- Build and position a world class Strategic Finance and FP&A practice.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS :

- RSM India seeks a proven financial modeling specialist who brings deep modeling and consulting experience to RSM.

The ideal candidate should possess the following key requirements :

- 12+ years of consulting or industry experience working with professional services / financial modeling organizations or related industry experience.

- Experience building financial models to enable better decision making to support mergers and acquisitions, private equity buy-side and sell-side, strategy business planning, feasibility studies, working capital and cash flow management, corporate and financial restructuring, carve out and divestment, post-merger integration, and cost reduction programs.

- An expert modeler with the communication, consultative, and leadership skills to help guide major projects

- Proven ability to lead a business, including growing talent and overseeing successful delivery of large-scale solutions

- Core focus on developing future talent by empowering direct reports with knowledge and opportunities to grow in their careers

- Develop long-term relationships and networks internally

- Interact and communicate effectively with teammates, internal stakeholders, and clients

- Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members

- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and client service

- Highly motivated and dependable

- Self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities

- Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and prior consulting experience relevant to industry-specific business and consulting functions

- Preferred but not required :

- Experience with data modeling and database development and management

- Experience with data analysis visualizations and support data linkages to those visualizations

- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, PowerBi, Tableau, etc.
