RR Finance - Fixed Income/Investment Banking Role

About the Role:

- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Fixed Income/Bond Dealer to join our dynamic team.

- You will be responsible for the marketing, sales, and trading of fixed income securities, including bonds and Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs), across B2B and B2C channels.

- This is a fast-paced and challenging role that demands a strong understanding of the fixed income market and a proven track record of success in deal execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Making & Sales:

- Develop and implement strategies to actively market and sell fixed income securities to a broad range of clients, including institutional investors, financial institutions, and individual investors (B2B & B2C channels).

- Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities for fixed income products.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with market participants (counterparties and brokers) to secure the best possible quotes for debt instruments.

Trading Expertise:

- Execute fixed income trades efficiently on platforms like NSE, BSE, ICCL, and NSCCL.

- Possess in-depth knowledge of trade settlement processes and work collaboratively with internal teams (accounts, operations) to ensure smooth trade execution and settlement.

Financial Analysis:

- Analyze fixed income instruments and calculate key metrics like clean and dirty price, accrued interest treatment, Yield to Maturity (YTM), and Yield to Call (YTC).

- Develop sound investment recommendations based on market analysis and client risk tolerance.

Performance & Reporting:

- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the fixed income business.

- Prepare accurate and timely reports on trading activity and market trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the fixed income market.

- Strong understanding of fixed income products, pricing models, and risk management principles.

- Experience in utilizing trading platforms like NSE, BSE, ICCL, and NSCCL.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure.

- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial modeling tools.

- A valid IRDA certification (preferred)
