About the Job :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fixed Income/Bond Dealer to join our dynamic team in Central Delhi. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fixed income markets, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of successful deal execution. This role involves marketing and selling a range of fixed income securities, including bonds and NCDs, to both B2B and B2C clients. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with market participants, ensuring efficient trade execution, and achieving set sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing:
- Actively market and sell fixed income securities (bonds, NCDs, etc.) to institutional (B2B) and retail (B2C) clients.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of clients and market participants.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the fixed income market.
- Prepare and present market updates, investment proposals, and product presentations to clients.
Trading and Deal Execution:
- Continuously monitor and analyze market conditions to identify trading opportunities.
- Interact with counterparties and brokers to obtain the best quotes for debt instruments.
- Execute trades on NSE/BSE/ICCL/NSCCL platforms with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate trade confirmations and settlements.
- Manage and mitigate trading risks.
Market Analysis and Research:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of fixed income markets, including interest rates, credit spreads, and economic indicators.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and market developments.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Operational Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal teams (accounts, operations, compliance) to ensure smooth execution and settlement of trades.
- Maintain accurate records of trades and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, counterparties, and brokers.
- Provide excellent client service and address client inquiries promptly.
- Proactively seek feedback from clients and market participants to improve service and product offerings.
Target Achievement:
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and market activity.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA in Finance or a related field is highly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fixed Income/Bond Dealer or in a similar role within the financial services industry.
