Background - FMCG Business:

- RPSG FMCG Business has made strong initial inroads by creating a new segment of snacks in the Indian market, with its brand "Too Yumm" In a short period the brand has established itself across India as a strong choice vis a vis of traditional fried. This was possible by bold investments in product design and go to market. The division also has forayed into traditional snacks and Ayurveda ( Dr Vaidya's). The group is now in earnest to build the FMCG business in India through bold organic growth and acquisitions.

- Scale exponentially the E commerce business for Too Yumm! through sound strategy, building strong relationships with platform, stabilizing operations, building efficiencies and guiding and mentoring the team.

Position Summary:

- The role will be responsible for overseeing PAN India logistics. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing the distribution of a large number of SKUs, optimizing warehouse operations, ensuring timely material dispatch, and handling both primary and secondary logistics.


- This role involves managing mother warehouses, branch warehouses, focusing on cost optimization, inventory management, and the integration of advanced technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

Distribution Management:

- Supervise distribution operations across PAN India, ensuring the efficient and timely dispatch of materials.

- Handle the distribution of a wide range of SKUs across multiple channels (GT/MT/ECom/ QCom/IN)

- Ensure the optimal functioning of both primary and secondary logistics.

Warehouse Optimization:

- Streamline warehouse operations, covering mother warehouses, branch warehouses, and e-commerce facilities.

- Apply best practices in warehouse management to enhance efficiency and lower operational costs.

Inventory Management:

- Ensure accurate inventory levels to satisfy demand while avoiding overstocking.

- Create and implement inventory control procedures to reduce shrinkage and prevent obsolescence.

Logistics Operations:

- Ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of materials to multiple distribution points.

- Coordinate logistics operations to align with customer demand and company objectives.

- Manage relationships with logistics partners to maintain high service quality.

Cost Optimization:

- Identify and execute cost-saving strategies within logistics and warehouse operations.

- Monitor and manage logistics budgets to ensure alignment with financial targets.

Technology Integration:

- Utilize advanced technologies to enhance logistics and warehouse operations across Cost/ Compliance/ Service pillars

- Keep up with industry trends and adopt relevant technologies to sustain a competitive edge.

Leadership and Team Management:

- Present Logistics slide during monthly SNOP to LTs

- Lead and mentor a team of logistics and warehouse professionals.

- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the logistics team.

Education & Skill Sets Required:

- Post Graduate in Supply chain management/ Operations (Pref. Tier1/ 2 institutes)

- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management, preferably in the FMCG sector
