Purpose:We are seeking an experienced and analytical CMI (Consumer and Market Insights) Manager to join our team. As a CMI Manager, you will be responsible for understanding consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitive landscape to develop strategic insights that will drive business growth and enhance our brand's position within the Personal Care industry.
Key Responsibilities:1. Consumer Insights:- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand consumer preferences, needs, and behaviors within the Personal Care category.
- Identify and track key market trends, consumer demographics, and competitive activities to gain a comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics.
- Utilize various research methodologies such as surveys, focus groups, and interviews to gather consumer insights and feedback.
- Analyze data and present actionable insights to cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Sales.
2. Market Analysis:- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the Personal Care category.
- Conduct regular market and competitive intelligence assessments to identify potential opportunities and threats.
- Stay up-to-date with industry publications, reports, and trade shows to gather insights and benchmark against competitors.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop market strategies and product positioning based on market insights.
3. Brand Strategy:- Develop and implement brand strategies for the Personal Care category based on consumer insights and market analysis.
- Collaborate with Marketing teams to create compelling messaging and positioning strategies that resonate with target consumers.
- Provide recommendations on new product development, packaging, pricing, and promotional strategies based on consumer preferences and market trends.
- Monitor brand performance and conduct post-launch evaluations to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to ensure alignment and integration of consumer insights into business strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders in leveraging consumer insights to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with external research agencies and vendors to execute research projects and ensure quality data collection.
Qualifications & Skills Required:- MBA in Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in Consumer and Market Insights, preferably within the Personal Care or FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficient in using market research tools and techniques, such as surveys, focus groups, and data analytics software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
