Background - FMCG Business

RPSG FMCG Business has made strong initial inroads by creating a new segment of snacks in the Indian market, with its brand "Too Yumm" In a short period the brand has established itself across India as a strong choice vis a vis of traditional fried. This was possible by bold investments in product design and go to market. The division also has forayed into traditional snacks and Ayurveda ( Dr Vaidya's). The group is now in earnest to build the FMCG business in India through bold organic growth and acquisitions.

Scale exponentially the E commerce business for Too Yumm! through sound strategy, building strong relationships with platform, stabilizing operations, building efficiencies and guiding and mentoring the team.

Position Summary:

The S&OP head is responsible for driving the S&OP Process for the FMCG business & lead the Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Material Planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Planning Team (comprising demand planning, Supply Planning, Material Planning) for Foods and Personal Care businesses

- Govern the Monthly Sales & Operations planning (S&OP) process liaising with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing.

- Deliver Fill rates of 85% + for Organized Trade business (MT offline, ECOM) channels

- Minimize expiries of FG as well as RM PM by optimizing Inventory levels & driving Forecast accuracy.

- Perform Capacity Planning basis demand estimates to identify Capacity bottlenecks.

- Drive promotions & NPDs from Supply side to ensure successful & on time launch

- Digitization of Planning activities through planning Tool implementation.

Education & Skill Sets Required:

- MBA from Tier 1 Institute ( NITIE, SPJIMR, SJSOM )

- Experience - 6-12 years of relevant work experience in a FMCG (preferably food business) & 3 years in a team management role.

- Excellent communication skills (Spoken & written)

- Analytical mindset

- Adept at MS office especially Excel, PowerPoint
