Roundglass - Manager - Social Media

Location: Mohali.

Position Type: Full-Time.

- You will be responsible for ideating, creating and managing high quality social media content across the Sports verticals of RoundGlass specifically for Punjab Football Club.

- You will have a background and passion for sports and will generate an engaging stream of social media content in close collaboration with stakeholders from the Sports business.

- You will travel with the first team, plan content on match days, and play a crucial role in growing our digital presence and fan engagement.

What you'll do:

- Contribute to developing social media content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing plan of Punjab Football Club under RG Sports.

- Collaborate with stakeholders of PFC in creative ideation, campaign scheduling and implementation aspects of social media action plans.

- Develop and execute engaging content for PFC's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, Threads, etc).

- Translate the social media plan into daily / weekly plans; track execution progress, measure impact and implement a continuous improvement cycle for upcoming campaigns.

- Travel with the first team to home and away matches to capture on-ground activities and provide real-time updates on social platforms.

- Use innovative methods to create compelling content, including graphics, videos, and live updates.

- Create and manage PFC fan clubs, actively engaging with members and growing the fan base.

- Engage & interact with influencers to enhance the club's digital presence and expand reach.

- Analyse consumer data, interactions, metrics and use this information to create comprehensive reports and optimize future social media campaigns.

- Identify potential / emerging social medial content through regular interactions with technical teams in RG Sports verticals (PFC) and manage tight delivery deadlines.

- Leverage best practices from global forums, analyze success metrics of previous content, and shape future campaigns to implement learnings and improvements.

Who we're looking for:

- Relevant education with at least 5+ years of prior work experience in sports social media marketing; should have a strong passion and career-preference for sports.

- Familiarity with Indian football landscape and have a passion for innovative content creation.

- Thorough understanding of various social media platforms, their best practices and proven ability to generate content through new and innovative methods.

- Knowledge of editing tools like or similar to Canva, InShot.

- Creative thinker with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Good interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.

- Ability to cope well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines.
