Candidate profile

- Commerce Graduate/MBA (Finance)/CFA/CA

- Comprehensive knowledge of financial concepts (i.e. ratio analysis, valuation techniques etc.)

- 2-4 years of experience in Financial and Investment Research

- Excellent financial modeling and report writing skills with experience in writing ICRs

- Strong quantitative aptitude and ability to draw inferences from a set of numbers/financials

- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills

- Proficient in MS-Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- Demonstrate learning aptitude, openness to feedback and ability to work in a team as well as individually

Responsibilities

- With managerial oversight, develop complex and error-free financial models based on logical assumptions

- Provide analyst views supplemented with in-depth earnings forecasts and valuation estimates

- Write well structured and crisp initiating coverage reports, sector reports and thematic reports

- Provide periodical updates and prepare earning reviews for companies under coverage

- Write news flashes and calls (industry & company) explaining the quantitative and qualitative impact of industry developments (e.g. new acquisition, management change, guidance change etc.)

- Provide on-demand qualitative research support that involves company/industry profiling

- Source relevant data/information using secondary databases such as Factiva, Avention, Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg

- Confidently interact with international clients
