RoadPiper - Senior Associate - Supply

Objective of the role : 

Associate Manager - Supply is responsible for building strong supply network of Full Truck Load (FTL) business for a well-funded inter-city logistics organisation. 

Education & Work Experience : 

- Any graduate/post-graduate/MBA/B.Tech

- 2-5 years of vendor management experience in the functional area of supply chain preferably from logistics/ transportation/internet/e-commerce/rental service industry

- Excellent networking and relationship building skills.

- Start-up experience will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities : 

- Managing day to day fulfilment of orders by placing trucks and ensuring on- time, error-free & smooth transitions.

- Lead the complete cycle of new fleet owner acquisition, on-boarding, consistent service and retention.

- Plan the supply partner network breadth on volume and truck type mix and align with business expansion plans.

- Drive lead based supply acquisition for the cluster and ensure high conversion ratio from ground sales.

- Ensure supply utilization by keeping placement efficiency over 95% over time.

- Negotiating with suppliers and reducing the supply cost over-time to increase the profitability.

- Achieving monthly supplier meeting targets for new suppliers onboarding and relationship building with existing suppliers.

- Taking complete ownership of the work and deliver impact results.

- Work with internal teams to identify and bridge supply gaps including vendor identification and on-boarding.

- Effectively interact with diverse situations in disputes cases like payments, operational issues etc.

- Maintaining strong follow-ups with supplier.

- Identifying, analysing and initiating the resolution process based on the escalation criteria as per the company matrix.

- Willing to travel intra-city/inter-city on monthly basis (approx. 10 days in a month) as per business needs.
