The Position :
RML is looking to induct a Head of Marketing & Business Development (formal title is flexible and can be finalized with the incumbent). This position will report in to the CEO.
- The Company acknowledges that in order to fulfill its growth aspirations, it will need to revisit its existing Marketing Function and develop and implement a well thought out new strategy for novel product offerings, branding, positioning, segmentation, differentiation, distribution and value creation, both for its retail consumers and enterprise customers, while continuing to build on its intrinsic strengths of product innovation, quality and technical superiority.
- It realizes the need for far greater intimacy with its markets with more outward orientation than it has ever had. It is therefore seeking to induct fresh talent at its leadership level in Marketing so as to give its future plans new impetus, drive and energy.
- The incumbent will be responsible to lead its Marketing and Business Development efforts to ensure delivery of its business goals of revenues, profitability and growth. Role Holder needs to work closely with Operations & Technology Functions.
The key constituents under the Marketing & Business Development Head will be :
- Product Strategy, Development & Management
- Enterprise Sales & CRM
- Marketing Communications
- Support to Retail Sales
The position is based at Mumbai.
The Person :
- Should be an Engineer and a MBA (Marketing) from one of the top Institutes.
- Target age is in the 28 to 35 years.
- Should have had good exposure to Sales & Product Management in his/her early years, growing into a leadership position in Marketing.
- Familiarity with digital media will be an added advantage.
- Must possess higher order functional expertise and demonstrated leadership ability. Other attributes that are necessary are strategic thinking, innovation and excellent people skills.
Remuneration will be excellent and includes an aggressive stock options scheme.
