An RK Group company that was set up as an Online Retail Business and Solution provider for Brands, with an end-to-end integrated business solution for B2C eCommerce & Omnichannel. We provide seamless integration of technology, sales, merchandise, operations, and supply chain management to enable brands to manage their eCommerce business - including the brand's own websites, Omni Channel solutions, retail store integration, and marketplace integration.

Position Title: Director - Finance Controller

Location: Bangalore

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Tracking, reporting, and analysing budget variances.

- Get the books written accurately to ensure a correct company's financial statements.

- Preparing month-end reports for management, including P&L, balance sheets, and cashflow statements.

- Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.

- Ensuring compliance with government regulations.

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting.

- Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

- Manage all audits - statutory, tax, internal and management.

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

- Manage and comply with local, state, and union government reporting requirements and tax filings.

- Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

- Share feedbacks with AP team on quality issues and working closely on improving processes.

Candidate requirement:

- Proven working experience as a Financial controller.

- 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience with 4+ years of related controllership experience.

- CA is mandatory.

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.

- Excellent accounting software and ERP user and administration skills.

- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills with ability to deliver under high pressure.

- Job requires in depth knowledge of GST, TDS and Company Laws.
