Client Relationship Management:
- Proactive, effective and timely communication on project, processes and people

People Management :
- The candidate would be expected to hire and lead a strong team of senior and junior analysts in the focused areas.

Project Management:
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery
- The candidate will be expected to manage multiple projects either directly or indirectly (via his team leaders)
- Provide updates to the client stakeholders and Genpact leadership on the status of these projects, risks and propose risk mitigation
- Be an hands-on project resource on certain key projects that would help deepen the relationship with strategic clients
Thought Leadership:
- Drive operational excellence
- Knowledge of Risk & regulatory reporting either directly in a bank or experience as a consultant in implementing reporting infrastructure for a financial services customer.
- Knowledge of US regulations are desired
Must have's:
- Strong domain knowledge : Experience in analytical reporting with knowledge of IT and data infrastructure supporting it. Familiarity with BI, reporting suites and large data management tools and techniques. Track record of delivering banking regulatory projects
- Banking product knowledge: Deep expertise in one or more of the following banking products (Wholesale (CRE, C&I), Retail (Cards, Mortgage, Auto Finance), Investment (Equity, bonds)
- Strategic Orientation: Can apply a broad knowledge base to provoke client thinking beyond narrow brand/category parameters
- Senior Client Handling Skills: Able to create any written presentation related to owned projects, delivering additional gravitas to more tricky client situations
- Project Management Skills: Able to create and promote a project management culture within the team. Demonstrated competence in managing multiple and complex projects
- Quantitative Skills: Demonstrated ability to work on complex quantitative analytics projects which would include both managing analysts and also hands-on experience in delivering data quality solutions for regulatory initiatives such as Basel II & III, CCAR Stress testing etc
- Advanced degree in CA/MBA/Science/Statistics/econometrics with hands-on experience in designing & developing risk reporting frameworks.
- Familiarity with banking and finance products
- Should possess background in Risk Management in banking with in-depth understanding of risk management tools.
