Risk Manager - Financial Services

Job Description :

A. Risk Management Framework : Assist in drafting Risk Management function related policies, SOPs and guidance documents. Assist Head of Risk / Chief Risk Officer in Implementing, Tracking and Monitoring the Risk Management Framework at Entity level. Ensure that proper governance framework is established on subsidiary companies, in terms of Risk Management activities and periodic flow of information to the group from the subsidiary companies. Periodic updation of Risk Management Framework in terms of latest regulation, best practices etc. Strive for enhancement and enrichment of Risk Management Framework.

B. Awareness Creation : Assist in development of risk management training content bank. Training and mentoring the first line of defense on Risk Management areas. Driving the Risk Awareness training, sessions, campaigns in the organization. Assist in creation of Risk Aware and Risk Informed Culture within the organization. Arranging periodic training for 1st Line of Defence.

C. Operational Risk Management : Driving and performing the Risk and Control Self-Assessment at a functional level. Periodic review of existing Risk and Control Self-Assessment Document. Driving the Vendor Risk Assessment and Branch Risk assessment on a periodic basis. Assisting functions on Incident reporting and performing the Root Cause Analysis of the reported incidents. Preforming Loss Data Analysis. Assist the functions in development of parametric Key Risk Indicators at the functional level. Colleting and Monitoring of KRIs data on periodic basis.

D. Insurance Coverage : Tracking & monitoring of Insurance coverage Renewal Process Ensure that the entity is sufficiently Insured. Drive the entire Insurance coverage procurement/ renewal process. Co-ordinate with functions and DPs for Claims.

E. Monitoring and Reporting and other Activities : Co-ordinating with functions for Risk Management Committee related data. Preparation of Reports and collation of data for Risk Management Committee. Obtaining functional signoff on adherence to risk management policies and procedures. Timely highlighting the risk related issues to the respective stakeholders. Participate in BCP/DR Drills activity as a second line of defence. Overseeing the Information Security risk. Participate in various internal groups and committee meetings, where required. Delivering the presentations and sessions to Senior Management, where required
