About The Role:

- The Risk Head is responsible for ensuring adherence to the holistic risk management framework, clear risk ownership, consistent and complete risk oversight and contributing to a strong risk culture within the company.

- They are responsible for overseeing the risk management framework and activities through direct management of the second line of defence across all risks.

- This Risk Head will lead initiatives to deliver continuous improvement in processes through identifying risk mitigation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework, policies, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

- Integrate strategic risk management priorities into the company's overall strategic planning.

- Establish risk appetite and tolerance levels for the company and communicate them effectively to key stakeholders.

- Conduct risk assessments, identify risks, and evaluate their potential impact on the company's business operations, financial position, and reputation.

- Develop qualitative and quantitative risk reporting for senior management and Boards of Directors that support effective decisions on risks to the company and clients.

- Oversee monitoring and analysis of overall risk exposures of the business, including potential losses that the business may experience both normal and stressed market conditions.

- Ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are in place to monitor limits and alert management immediately of significant changes to business risks.
