Risk Consultant- Financial services

Description

Role:

- The consultant will provide consulting services, including solution development, implementation and closeout.

- He/She will work with our other business units to operate and support production systems.

Requirement:

- 4-5 years’ experience in Finance and Banking industry

Has knowledge and working experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Has experience in building score card model , good understanding and knowledge on statistical modeling methodology

- Has Economic Capital Calculation methodology to lead the client's requirement or has job experience in the bank's credit risk department as credit risk manager or was Credit risk consultant in business consulting firm for economic capital calculation or equivalent knowledge and experience

- Has experience in defining KRI, RCSA and Loss Data Collection or has job experience in the bank's operational risk department or was OpRisk consultant in business consulting firm

- Has experience in market risk requirement analysis or has job experience in the bank's market risk department or was market consultant in business consulting firm

- Has experience in implementation or configuration of Risk Dimension for market risk management or other risk management or used Risk Management for Banking

- Has experience in implementation or configuration of Risk Dimension or Risk Management for Insurance solution or equivalent implementation experience using other Solvency II solutions than SAS

- Experience with SAS Base & Macros

- Experience with ETL, Data Integration (DI) and BI platform/ knowledge

- Debugging experience on SAS BI platform, Unix, PC, Websphere, Weblogic and other applications servers / software issues a plus.

- Should have a basic knowledge on System Administration on Unix platforms or Windows platform and basic knowledge on scripting languages such as Shell, Bash, AWK etc.

- Degree in Computers or equivalent degree is a must

- Knowledge and experience in working with US retail banking is a must

- Good Communication Skills

Qualifications

Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or quantitative field with more than 5 years of relevant experience.
