Ripples of Change Foundation - Program Manager

Ripples of Change Foundation (ROCF-https://www.rocf.org/), an NGO focused on humanitarian and social-economic development works is looking for an experienced Program Manager who can work and support multi-state projects on diverse focus sectors in the sphere of economic empowerment, education, life-skills, environment, health & well-being. Preference will be given to those who have worked in the area of Economic Empowerment with expertise in designing, creating and delivering sustainable livelihood programs and in the sphere of skill development for rural vulnerable communities.

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, thrive in a cross-functional setting with strong attention to detail is essential. The candidate must be a self-starter, able to multitask, prioritize multiple work streams and manage complex stakeholder networks. The ability and passion to navigate diverse, complex and global subject matters is a must.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 1 year

Location: Gangtok, Sikkim

Age: 30 to 45 years

Qualifications, Previous Experience and Skills Sets Required:

Educational Qualification: Masters/PG Diploma/M.Phil or equivalent degree in social work, sociology, rural development, business management or similar fields.

Work Experience: 6-10 years predominantly in the rural development sector especially in areas like Economic -Empowerment, Education, Life Skills, Health and Wellness and Environment.

- Strategy development, Planning and Execution.

- Multilingual content development, training, assessments and resource mobilisation.

- Networking and Liaising with development agencies, Government and Corporates.

- Review, M&E and impact assessments tools.

- Mobilisation of Grant/CSR funding opportunities.

- Relationship management with sector-specific stakeholders.

- Hiring and Staffing

- Compliances related to finance, legal, HR, regulatory and statutory matters.

- Publicity/Promotions/PR across social and mass media.

Other Skill Sets:

- Excellent oral and written communications in English and Hindi. Knowledge of the regional local languages will be an added advantage.

- Exceptional computer skills

General Matters

- The job will require extensive travel

Remuneration: Salary up to 45-50k per month.

The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.
