RIL - Business Manager - International Trading

Responsible for preparation and monitoring of Trading business plan, capex budget proposals, business operations related policy formulation and implementation, reporting business performance and contribute to overall business strategy formulation. Enable achievement of Business objectives through close co-ordination with other businesses and support functions

Key Accountabilities

1.AOP Preparation, Performance Monitoring and Performance Reporting coordinate with segment heads and support functions for AOP preparation, obtaining approvals and enable implementation post approval.

Prepare capex budget proposal by consolidating inputs from sectors and support functions, obtaining approvals and enable implementation post approval.

Monitor and review performance (vs. budget) on periodic basis, prepare exception reports and present findings to the Head, Based on inputs/feedback organize reviews for course correction

2.Analysis and review of new business opportunities

Analyse and review the proposals from sectors and support functions and share findings with Head

Suggest cost optimization/ margin maximization measures and improve operating efficiency through periodic reviews

Evaluate new business opportunities as proposed and enable preparation of due diligence reports and financial / technical bids

Track major developments/innovations in the industry and provide support to sectors for identifying business growth opportunities and enable implementation post approval

3.Sector specific assignments

Track and report the sector performance for specific parameters as per the criteria provided by the Head and senior leadership

4.Business Performance Review

Monitor sector performance by collating information and arranging reviews with heads

Prepare action plans and monitor progress post reviews

Prepare and participate strategy related reviews of sectors and provide inputs

5.Preparation of internal MIS reports, dashboards and media release.

Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders as per the requirement

Prepare weekly business performance report by collating inputs from various sectors

Prepare monthly performance dashboard for evaluating sector performance.

Prepare responses to various queries raised by statutory agencies and share for approval

Prepare quarterly media release based on the inputs received.
