About the role :

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant with expertise in SAP to join our dynamic team as a key member of the Accounts and Finance department.

- The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of IndAS, coupled with a proven track record of managing financial accounting, reporting, and auditing processes using SAP software in manufacturing companies.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1) Utilize SAP software to effectively close books of accounts accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with IndAS and organizational standards.

2) Leverage SAP functionalities to prepare and present financial statements in accordance with IndAS guidelines, providing insightful analysis of monthly results to facilitate decision-making processes.

3) Harness SAP capabilities to review all profit and loss, balance sheet accounts, and financial reports, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or irregularities.

4) Serve as the primary liaison with both statutory and internal auditors, utilizing SAP to facilitate audit processes and promptly resolve any audit requirements or open issues.

5) Engage in proactive communication with auditors to ensure timely completion of audit procedures and compliance with regulatory standards, leveraging SAP functionalities as necessary.

6) Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, optimize resource allocation, and enhance overall efficiency, leveraging SAP expertise to drive process improvements.

7)Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment while imparting SAP knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications and Skills:.

1) Chartered Accountant qualification with 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles, coupled with demonstrated expertise in SAP.

2) Thorough understanding and practical application of IndAS guidelines and principles, with proficiency in utilizing SAP software for financial accounting and reporting.

3) Previous experience working in manufacturing companies and collaborating with Big 4 auditors is highly preferred.

4) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights using SAP functionalities.

5) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders while leveraging SAP for communication and collaboration.
