RIA Insurance Brokers is recruiting Managers for their SME and Corporate Business Lines.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Manager - SME & Corporate Sales will act as single point of contact for client accounts.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead new client acquisition and management of existing SME & Corporate Accounts including renewals and cross-selling
- Develop an understanding of the client business
- Conduct insurance risk assessments at client to identify coverage gaps
- Work with the RIA Underwriting team to place the insurance policies with the appropriate insurer
- Post-sales, ensure that all client-servicing needs are being fulfilled in collaboration with the RIA Servicing team
The Manager is expected to develop strong insurance expertise related to specific industries (e.g. Power, IT, Education, etc.) and/or insurance products (e.g. Group Medical, Fire + Allied, Liability, etc.) over time.
Candidates who apply, should have the following:
- Enjoy client engagement and can act as a trusted partner to the client
- Interest in insurance industry is a must; Existing knowledge of insurance is a bonus
- Be goals and target oriented
- Like problem solving: Be interested in learning about clients- industries and issues, and demonstrate willingness to develop innovative solutions for clients
- Strong collaboration skills required for partnering with the RIA Underwriting Team and Insurance Companies
- Very comfortable with numbers and analytical
- Detail Orientation is a must
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
