Senior Manager - Business Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company goals and drive revenue growth.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to facilitate business partnerships.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
- Manage the sales pipeline, track leads, and forecast sales performance to meet revenue targets.
- Analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances that align with the companys vision and growth objectives.
- Negotiate contract terms and agreements to maximize value for both parties.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and market positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns that support business development efforts.
- Mentor and support junior business development team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Share best practices and insights to drive continuous improvement within the team.
Required Skills:
- 6-12 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners at all levels.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing deals and managing contracts. Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
