Roles & Responsibility:

- Work with the Senior Management of the Organization on developing a technology strategy and implementation plans that align with the business requirements.

- Reviews system enhancement cases and makes recommendations while prioritizing changing demands, and multi-tasks, and creatively meets tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, software development best practices, industry trends, emerging technologies, security protocols, and particularly in the areas salient to our solutions; ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization.

- Establish systematic management development and provide capable management succession for the technology function.

- Provide leadership to the team, responsible for the development of a platform that supports the company's Purpose and values.

- Conduct research and case studies on leading-edge technologies and make determinations on the probability of implementation.

- Construct reliable control and decision support systems, keep abreast of critical issues, and work with management to impact positive outcomes.

- Efficiently manage development resources across lines of business, diverse product portfolios, and multiple projects using proven methodologies, repeatable processes, and standard tools.

- Create a culture of professionalism, product excellence, and process innovation.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Master/Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field preferred or equivalent work experience required.

- The position requires a minimum of 10 years' experience in the travel industry or e-commerce industry.

- Must possess excellent leadership, with visionary abilities. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent analytical, written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Should be a passionate and articulate client-facing proponent of business and technology strategy.

- Maintain the technology strategy and ensure its alignment with the business strategy.

- Ability to provide reliable technical assessment and due diligence of potential partners and acquisitions. Leverage technology of business partnership relationships.

- Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to look beyond the personality when working with others.

- Knowledge of PHP Frameworks, MySQL, and Web services (like XML, Jason) is preferred.

- Proficiency with Global Distribution Systems, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, are required.
