Experience & Qualifications: - 6-8 years Experience in Accounts.
- CA/MBA Finance with experience.
Functional Competencies: Business Perspective
- Understands the regulatory/legal environments, economics, competitive landscape, and financial risks/opportunities of the industry in which the organization operates
- Understands the financial and non-financial performance of the organization's operating processes and results relative to the industry and can articulate the organization's key competitive advantages and disadvantages
- Involves legal or compliance experts within the organization to evaluate and resolve matters when necessary
- Follows and informs management about effective critical accounting decisions based upon scenario analysis, and experience
Leadership:
- Acts as a role model for the entire team by proving by actions
- Does long-term coaching for developing people as future leaders and strongly believes in people development
- Anticipates plans and adapts to all types of internal and external changes in accounting function.
- Communicates the vision of management to the entire team and ensures operations of accounts follow the vision.
- Communicates the vision in a manner that generates excitement, enthusiasm and commitment to the team mission.
Compliance to Policies and Procedures:
- Capable of making and following decision which involve interpretation of the laws.
- Follows policies and applies good judgment to high risk situations
- Understands the change impact of policies and procedures to people, department, the System and external entities.
Champion - Accounts and M&A:
- Monitors the actual and budgeting variance competently and analyses information to present to top management.
- Understands the role of accounting in the organization and its impact on the overall financial operation, including its application to reporting, analysis, and decision making
- Demonstrates an understanding of internal control framework and practices
- Applies relevant accounting and taxation rules, policies, procedures, and pronouncements to reporting, analysis, and decision making
Customer Centric and Reliable:
- Gets first-hand internal customer information and uses it for improvements in services
- Is dedicated to exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
- Evaluates the customer satisfaction measure and take corrective action as and when required.
- Encourages team to develop and maintain partnerships with customers and ensures timely service.
