JOB DESCRIPTION
Position - Rewards & Benefits
Function - Human Resources
Location - Mumbai
Business - India’s Largest Conglomerate Organization.
Job Type - 1 years Contract but directly on Company's Payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide analytics inputs into the Rewards and benefits related processes through worldwide research and subsequent analysis and support projects in policy design, variable pay plan rollouts.
- To support the day to day rewards governance and operations.
Compensation Analytics
- Co relate compensation in line with business data and business performance.
- Develop and recommend metrics for establishing linkages in various businesses.
- Benchmark compensation ratios. Work with resources in Economic Cell, external agencies including research agencies, financial newspapers etc. (Employment cost ratios) with external benchmarks
- Provide inputs into compensation budgeting process
- Be the key resource in the portfolio for all analytics
Research
- Study and present global/ regional and sector specific trends relating to employee wellness and reward, as relevant to COMPANY businesses.
- Research next gen benefit trends and facilitate adoption/ adaptation within COMPANY to enable it to be Employer of Choice.
- Facilitate develop external network and perspective for the Rewards portfolio.
- Track Income tax, COLA and compensation related country specific laws and norms.
Individual Compensation data analysis and external benchmarking for Pay Management
- Benchmark compensation internally across relevant sectors within COMPANY
- Support participation in external studies and define competitive positioning of COMPANY businesses in the relevant sector.
- Identify and track individual data as reported by organizations relating to compensation (217-2A)
- Compile and analyze such data in Group Businesses and provide individual profile-wise comparisons, compile standards.
Benefits and Policy review and implementation for select businesses
- Recommend, Develop and review policies based on requirements, under supervision from Team Lead - Compensation
- Work on the financials and implementation recommendations at business / Group level.
Implement and communicate various short term incentive programs for select businesses
- Assist in the Design, implement and communicate annual incentive plans for various businesses.
- Work with external vendors wherever necessary.
- Continually review to ensure that such plans are competitive vis-à-vis market, aligned to the business objectives
Special Projects
- Review recommendations from Businesses as part of annual compensation review process every year, for certain businesses to highlight anomalies and inequities in the proposals.
- Lead or be member of key assignments such as Compensation communications, compensation workshops etc.
