JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Discovery and Strorefront (KPIs: Conversion, Engagement, Retention)
- Allocate visibility across categories to optimize for topline and category growth
- Come up with new constructs to improve engagement with the storefront
- Work with product team for interventions across search, merch, reco to optimize for platform conversion and diversity/ engagement
2. Pricing and incentives (KPIs: Conversion, CM)
- Devise pricing strategies at platform and category level to optimize for conversions
- Devise the right co-investment strategy with seller to extract maximum seller surplus
- Devise the right incentive structure at a customer cohort level to hit customer objectives (NC,react etc)
3. Planning
- Create monthly and quarterly and annual plans in collaboration with marketing, buy and product teams
- Work with team to optimize on budgets for plans and get plans approved
- Work with demand and supply planning teams to make sure right capacity allocation for the BU
4. Events (KPIs: Conversion, Retention, NC)
- Define monthly, quarterly and annual event calendars as per business objectives of topline/retention/ NCs
- Come up with the right investment strategies customer hooks for each event
- Work with marketing team for branding and building awareness/ intrigue around the events
5. Selection
- Identify selection gaps through internal data (search data and merch performance data) and work with buy team to build the right selection
- Devise the right visibility and investment strategy to make new selection successful
6. People Management
- Manage a strong and highly motivated sell team and groom them excel in their respective sub-functions within the team
