Profile:

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

ACE Project Rollout

- Successful roll out of ACE RA operations in Africa as per the project plan.

- Understanding of Interconnect, VAS and Roaming systems in Africa OPCOs and initiating new RA controls to mitigate unplugged risks

- Supporting the existing RA OPCO teams on site and off site to improve the RA Compliance

Minimize Losses

- Continuous review of service path & revenue patch

- Provide mitigation for revenue Loss risks for existing and new rollouts.

- Initiate revenue saving projects in African OPCOs.

Institutionalize Best Practices & Leverage Group Synergies

- Develop and standardize RA processes and SOPs

- Audit already implemented processes for compliance and inclusion of non-identified risks.

- Roll out Group wide initiatives

RA Compliance Universe adherence

- Adherence to RA universe and reviewing the same through Revenue Assurance Compliance tracker

- Develop, implement, review, modify and manage Revenue Assurance SOP’s & RA manual relating to

Develop RA team Knowledge Base

- Provide relevant functional and technical RA Training & develop RA Knowledge Base

Major Challenges :

- Timely Delivery of KPIs

- Regular follow-up with African team for closure of issues

- Understanding products and controls of new African market.

- Multi-tasking & simultaneous parallel validation of cutting edge technical network elements & BSS application rollout in extremely squeezed timelines.

- Attrition and Scarcity of skilled RA resources

- Establishing the Right Key Performance Indicators and Appropriate Controls

- Lack of Mediation and Call Event Warehousing to Drive Forensic RA Efforts

Demonstrate (Key competencies)

- Create a team engaged in Detecting and reporting revenue loss risks in products and network elements.

- Will undertake review service paths and revenue paths offering different services & defining RA controls to ensure all services availed by the subs get billed to the subscriber.

- Driving new initiatives, re-defining priorities to meet squeezed deadlines without compromising on quality of RA controls.

- Trains and develops the team members on new technologies and RA processes.

- Validates and approves rollout of new technical nodes and products, liaises with cross functional teams and apprise them of revenue loss exposure risk and plans mitigation for the same.

- Leverages synergies and institutionalizing best practices

- Assuring process and activity compliance of KPIs given for the team.

- Assuring completeness of traffic rated at Network elements vis-à-vis Traffic Generated at billing systems/ IN.

- Reconciliation of Switches to ensure no CDR generation loss.

- Ensuring correct rate changes at billing system with requisite approvals.

- Ensuring correct credits and debits have been given to the customer with requisite approvals.

- Analyzing the new projects/ products and performing UATs for them.

- Facilitating internal and external audits

- Timely closure of vendor/ operator/ carrier disputes.
