Revenue Accounting - Telecom

This position is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting & reporting of Revenue streams viz. Prepaid, Postpaid, IUC, SMS and Roaming etc. This position involves closely interacting with other departments & SSC.

This position will also be responsible for doing weekly forecasting of revenue and closely interacting with FP&A and Marketing team for revenue finalization.

This position also has to ensure 100% compliance with DoT related deliverables like Payment of quarterly License fee, Submission of documents on accrual basis, submission of documents on cash basis, Yearly audit of AGR & compliance with all other DoT related requirements and closely interacting with corporate regulatory team & SSC.

This position will also be responsible for ensuring timely receivables from operators (IUC/SMS/Roaming etc) & ensuring adequate & timely cash flow for company.

Revenue Accounting & Reporting:

- Responsible for completely managing of entire Revenue accounting & reporting

- Accurate accounting of Prepaid, Postpaid, IUC, Roaming & Enterprise revenue.

- Timely and accurate month end closing after review of all key recons and schedules

- To ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions and reporting of financial performance under IGAAP and IFRS. Adherence to instructions and timetables set by Corporate Finance / SSC.

- Ensure correct month end provision for Roaming Cost, IUC cost, USO provision & License fee provision for correct financial reporting.

- Ensure correct working for Activation fee deferment, Processing fees deferment, Free airtime deferment & Expired coupon revenue working

- Ensure all reporting related to IGAAP / IFRS are done on time with utmost quality.

- To ensure all the corporate, regional & other reports are timely submitted with utmost quality

- Regulatory Compliances, Audits & Reconciliations

- Revenue Forecasting, IUC (Interconnection usages charges) Analysis, Collections & Dispute Management

- Projects, Analysis & Process improvements
