Revenue Accountant - Big4 - CA

- Responsible for the monthly revenue close, which includes preparing and/or reviewing/posting monthly revenue entries, account reconciliations, and analytical review procedures

- Perform review of customer contracts for revenue recognition considerations

- Work closely with management and external auditors to ensure the company is compliant with the latest revenue recognition rules and Sarbanes-Oxley

- Prepare and analyze monthly trends/variances to ensure accounting records are complete and accurate

- Assist in optimizing accounting policies and procedures and implementing internal controls over the order-to-cash process

- Partner closely with cross-functional groups (i.e., FP&A, Sales/Operations, etc.) to provide technical guidance, training, support and drive best practices and scalable revenue processes

- Support external audit requests for quarterly review and annual audit

- Perform ad-hoc projects as required, including user acceptance testing for system implementation projects e process

- Lead other special projects as required.

Shift timings: 1 PM to 10 PM

Requirements:

- CA with 3+ years of experience with a Big 4 accounting firm

- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations

- Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly evolving, data driven environment

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Detailed oriented with ability to multitask and have a strong ownership mindset

- Strong systems knowledge with experience in Microsoft Excel is required

- Experience with Workday, NetSuite and FloQast are a plus
